Paws for Life and 9 Lives Cat Rescue are working together and run by volunteers who have full time jobs and many cats of there own. We aim to help as many cats as possible, especially the elderly, disabled, FIV+ve and cats that need medical treatment. Most of the cat that come through us will have a medical check, neutering if needed, vaccination and be micro-chipped. We rely on donations so funds are limited

Founded in 1986 the Celia Hammond Animal Trust started with the aim of opening a low cost neutering clinic to control the feral animal population. In addition to neutering animals, the clinics also help to rescue and rehome animals.

For over 100 years the BUAV has been campaigning peacefully to create a world where nobody wants or believes we need to experiment on animals. We work lawfully and professionally, building relationships with MPs, MEPs, business leaders and other decision-makers. We also analyse legislation and sit on decision-making panels around the globe, to act as the voice for laboratory animals. We are determined in our fight to achieve positive lasting change in legislation to make a long-term difference for animals.

StreetKatz is a new organisation founded out of a concern for the increasing number of homeless and abandoned cats and kittens in West Kent and East Sussex. Typically, these animals are having to fend for themselves on the streets, vulnerable to cruelty, starvation and untimely deaths. Based in Eridge Green near Tunbridge Wells in Kent, Folly Wildlife Rescue is a charity dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of injured, orphaned and distressed wild animals and birds throughout West Kent, East Sussex and the surrounding region. We specialise in the hand-rearing of animals such as Deer, Badgers, Foxes and other small mammals, as well as nestling and fledgling birds of all species.

To facilitate the rehoming of un-owned cats and kittens nationally through cat rescue groups, and to promote kindness to all animals. We are a web-based Charity, currently finding loving, permanent homes for over 5,000 unwanted and abandoned cats every year from rescues across the UK through our Virtual Cat Shelters. Our homing services are given free of charge to all kinds of rescues, large and small, from the many hundreds of independent rescue centres and rehoming groups to branches of the large

Our listeners are very loyal and this has proven to be perhaps a more robust way of financing the station compared to the vagaries of the commercial market.
